George Graham 1881-1949.Painter and printer,born in Leeds,Yorkshire.He was a member of ROI,RI,RSW and a leading figure in in the Yorkshire Artists and Society of Sussex Painters.Was a prolific exhibitor showing at the Fine Art Society,RA and elsewhere.Public galleries in Bradford,Leeds,and Worthing hold examples.Lived latterly in Winchelsea,Sussex where he died. ‘ Two Boys fishing under Willow Trees ‘ signed oil,image size 39.5x60 cms, framed size 68.5x77 cms.Interestingly Graham exhibited a picture title ‘ Under the Willows’ in 1910 and it is possible it may have been this picture.
