Extremely Rare Oliver Morel 1930’s Fruitwood Single Bed

A beautifully well made solid cherry wood large single bed, a rare model by Oliver Morel, a pupil of Edward Barnsley. It is incredibly rare to find early Oliver Morel furniture. This example is in wonderful condition and features a ladder back style head and foot board, the foot board being slightly curved and has lower panels. To the top of each bedpost are tapering octagonal finials. Oliver Morel was one of the top Cotswold School furniture makers of that time. Complete with the original side irons, we can have made a bespoke wooden bed base to fit. Please enquire for pricing.
