Omega Geneve Wrist Watch, 1966

Description

Omega Geneve wrist watch, 1966.

The watch has a calibre 601 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 23,266,174 which dates it back to 1966.

The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in very nice condition. There is pitting to the winding crown. The inside of the case back has the Omega logo together with the case reference 131.018 which is correct for the calibre 601.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands and centre seconds hand. If you look very closely in real life, there is a little discolouration around a couple of the batons but it is barely noticeable to the naked eye.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a vintage presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
