Antique 20th century carved linenfold desk in oak, an impressive and beautifully detailed piece that offers an abundance of storage alongside a generous writing surface.

Well made and of good quality, it has a strong traditional look with the distinctive character of linenfold carving. A cupboard door sits to each side of the desk, both carved to the front and opening to reveal a shelf and drawer within.

The upper centre features a larger drawer, providing further convenient storage for stationery, paperwork and everyday essentials. All drawers and doors are fitted with decorative brass handles. A raised gallery to the top completes the design, giving the desk a smart and well-finished profile.

The oak displays a rich, warm colour with gorgeous natural grain throughout, beautifully complementing the carved linenfold details. Presented in good condition, this substantial desk would make a striking addition to a study, office, library or reception room, offering a distinctive place to work with plenty of antique charm.
