A Large Victorian Chesterfield Sofa, 190cm with Calico Linen Upholstery.

An impressive scale Victorian Chesterfield sofa measuring 190cm wide, a comfortable 3 seater model of elegant appearance.

The sofa sits well upon its ebonised square taper legs and brass castors. The sofa retains its original shape with horsehair filling and stylish, later natural earthy tone calico-linen upholstery.

A particularly tasteful model of good proportions and considered good condition upholstery, professionally replaced within the last 20 years apx, tbc, with no tears or loss. The main seat area shows some minimal signs of use but all intact and some buyers may prefer to replace the seat fabric or enjoy its timeworn appearance which adds to its appeal and character.
