A striking pair of antique cast iron garden urns dating from the 19th century, presented on substantial stone pedestals and offering exceptional architectural presence.

Each urn is designed in the classical Campana form, with a broad flared rim, deeply fluted body and gadrooned lower section. The richly weathered red-painted finish has developed an attractive aged surface, giving the pair the authentic character and patina expected from antique garden ornament.

The urns are raised on moulded socles and square bases, which rest securely upon complementary stone pedestals. Each pedestal is square in section and decorated with recessed panelled sides, stepped mouldings and a broad projecting top.
