This is an exceptionally fine-quality original Impressionist Oil on Board Painting depicting a tranquil autumn day along a Rotterdam canal.

The vibrant and atmospheric composition portrays several traditional working tugboats moored peacefully along the canal bank, while windmills and charming Dutch dwellings can be seen receding into the distance beneath a dramatic, light-filled sky.

Executed with confident, expressive brushwork and a rich autumnal palette, the painting perfectly captures the distinctive character and serenity of the Dutch waterways.
