Absolutely stunning all iron super king bed, with makers mark declaring this bed as an original R.W. Winfield & Co. Bed, dated manufacture of July 28th, 1872. Lovely Shaping in the panel, and all castings and clamps in good detail, we have highlighted the casting detail in Gold Varnish to create a strikingly beautiful bed.

Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned, restored and tested for durability. All joints checked for secure fit. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Greene’s Jack Black, waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen. All of our beds can be re-painted in any colour of your choosing. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats, we can supply platform and sprung bed bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.
The bed is photographed on a 2” bed base with two zip and linked Bordeaux mattresses. We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices, and also with zip and link connections. Please see our web site or email for specifications and prices.

We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.
