A superb quality hand knotted Persian pure wool and silk Nain rug from central Persia in immaculate unworn newly cleaned condition c.1920''s. The close hand knotted deep pile rug with a soft cream background decorated predominantly in tones of navy, teal blue and gold. Medallion to the centre surrounded by interlinked floral design decoration with infills to the corners and a triple border to the outer edge with tobacco brown background. The floral decoration within the borders is edged with silk to highlight the flowers. Presented in immaculate unworn stain free newly cleaned condition ready for use. Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.
