This elegant antique Regency mahogany two door sideboard cabinet dates from around 1830 and is a beautifully proportioned example of English craftsmanship. Constructed from richly figured flame mahogany it features a moulded rectangular top above a cushion moulded frieze centred by a finely figured recessed panel. Elegant reeded columns flank the pair of panelled doors giving the cabinet the restrained classical styling that defines the Regency period.

The two well figured mahogany doors open to reveal a spacious interior fitted with two adjustable shelves offering excellent storage for dining room essentials, tableware, books, drinks or hallway accessories. Raised on its original plinth base this cabinet has a wonderful rich colour and patination and is equally suited to both traditional and contemporary interiors.

A versatile and attractive piece it would make an exceptional sideboard, drinks cabinet, hall cupboard or storage cabinet.

Condition

The cabinet is in excellent antique condition having been sympathetically cleaned and polished in our workshops. It has a beautiful rich colour and patination throughout with only very minor age related wear commensurate with its age and use. It is strong, sturdy and ready for everyday use.
