Description

A magnificent Sheraton period satinwood inlaid side cabinet, of the highest quality. Fabulous, virtually flawless, original condition. The lower section, with colonnettes in projection at the corners finely carved and fluted, oval panelled doors.

The interior contains two adjustable shelves.

Size: 45.1/2" wide x 16" deep x 60" high

A Sheraton period satinwood side cabinet displays a warm golden brown timber finish with extensive wood inlay. The upper section consists of a tiered open shelf backplate crowned by a shaped pediment with swag cresting inlay and smaller display compartments on both sides. The lower cabinet features a pair of two-door cabinets with prominent oval marquetry panels and leaf corner motifs, flanked by reeded corner columns and supported by turned feet. The front edges show decorative dental moulding beneath the top surface and the doors meet with a central wooden strip. The cabinet stands 116 cm wide by 41 cm deep by 152 cm high.
