A Victorian brass cased marine barometer with engraved brass dial and crescent thermometer by Dent c.1880. The original engraved brass dial with weather predictions and scale to the outer edge, plus blown glass mercury action crescent shaped thermometer to the lower half of the dial. The dial sat behind a glazed viewing window with central reading marker. The solid brass dished casing with engine turned bezel and brass hanging mount to the top. Bears the makers name for highly regarded instrument make Dent to the dial. Fully serviced, in full working order and presented in immaculate condition. For clocks and baro...meters bought from us, we also offer a setting up service by our trained personnel (local deliveries only).
Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.
