A Fine Quality Late Victorian Period Satinwood Kidney Shaped Desk. The kidney shaped top having a central green leather writing surface flanked by two fine marquetry inlaid panels. The front having an arrangement of eleven mahogany lined drawers with satinwood fronts, traditional brass swan neck handles and the original locks and working key. The ends and reverse also in satinwood so the desk can be used free standing in the centre of a room. Raised on eight turned supports with brass castors. English Circa 1890-1900
Dimensions: 48'' wide x 30'' high x 20'' deep (knee hole 21'' wide x 25.5'' high)
