Description

The figure is depicted in a traditional meditative pose with arms crossed over the chest, wearing a tall conical sikke hat and a long, pleated white tennure robe over a patterned waist sash. The figure features dark skin and a full black beard. The bronze is hollow-cast and secured to an integral rectangular base by two screws visible on the underside. On the lower rear of the robe, there is an incised circular mark containing a character, consistent with the mark used by the Bergman foundry.
