Shackladys Antiques has dated this Art Nouveau Oak Barograph to the 1910s.
To the front is an engraved glass weather dial marked from “Rain” through to “Very Dry,” alongside an integrated thermometer scale, all mounted upon a polished brass platform stamped “Hezzanith.” The visible workings give the piece tremendous visual interest and showcase the precision engineering associated with quality Edwardian scientific instruments.

The warm oak case is finely constructed with stepped mouldings and stands upon shaped bracket feet, with a useful drawer below for storage of charts and accessories.
