Retaining its original bevelled glass panels and removable top cover, the instrument displays an exceptionally intricate brass and steel mechanism, making it both a scientific instrument and an attractive display piece.The barograph features an eight-stack vacuum chamber movement operating a recording arm over the revolving chart drum, still retaining its original style chart paper beneath a brass lid.
