Gents 1940s Buren Grand Prix Wrist Watch

Description

Gents 1940s Buren Grand Prix wrist watch.

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Buren Grand Prix and also Cialco, a name registered by Buren.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in lovely condition, just a couple of short scratches to the back. It states that the case is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial has been professionally refinished to a high standard.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
