A good quality early 19th-century English mahogany shaving stand, featuring an adjustable circular mirror above a circular top.
The top has two hinged flaps opening to reveal internal storage, a practical and desirable feature. Raised on an elegant column with tripod base and scroll feet.
Very clean and well looked after. Lovely colour and patina throughout; original mirror plate with light foxing.
