18th Century Worcester Dr Wall Sparrow Beak Jug & Cover c.1770 – Fisherman & Cormorant Pattern
 
A fine example of an 18th-century Worcester First Period (Dr Wall) porcelain sparrow beak jug and cover, dating to circa 1770.
 
Beautifully transfer-printed with the Fisherman and Cormorant pattern on soft-paste porcelain, a classic and highly regarded early Worcester design.
 
The jug displays elegant form and period detail, and retains its original cover.
 
Marked with a disguised numeral mark to the underside, consistent with Worcester production of this period.
 
Condition:
 
There are some chips on the rim of the lid, a tiny firing crack by top of handle (pic 6)
