The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a good quality 17 jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Cudos, a brand name registered by H J Cooper & Co Ltd of London in 1910. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The case is 10ct gold filled, originally “guaranteed to wear 20 years”. The front of the case is in lovely condition, and the back has four little “pin prick” indentations. The plate has come off the winding crown.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. The glass lens is in good condition.
The dial has a few hairline cracks towards the edge but they are faint.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
