A beautiful antique Hamadan rug, hand woven circa 1920 with an unusual floral design on a pinky red field and camel border. Wonderful secondary colours including a lovely teal in the field and a highly decorative rug. Note the small animal figures in the border.
Size: 1.74m x 1.30m (5ft 8in x 4ft 3in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier in a few small spots, barely visible (see photos). Small, old repair to main field (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
