Description

Here we have a truly exceptional piece of cabinet making from the famous firm of Maple and Co London. This solid Walnut arts and crafts chest has great colour and patina. The top has super grain and a stepped moulded edge with ebonised string. Below there is s desirable configuration of two over three drawers. The drawers are all solid Mahogany lined with the finest hand cut dove tail joints and internal dust bead quadrants. There are original and fine quality brass pulls and escutcheons. The ebonised string to the top is replicated with beautiful line decor on the front of the drawers. The top drawer is stamped for Maple and Co and the locks all have the VR cipher for Queen Victoria. The whole sits on and original plinth base. A super chest of really great proportions in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The the dimensions are approx 110 cm high 106 cm wide 54 cm deep.
