Description

A magnificent art deco sycamore and walnut chest of drawers, this is of the absolute highest order. It was made in England, it dates from the 1930’s.

The quality is outstanding, this is beautifully made and has a unique design aspect. It is predominantly sycamore, with walnut banded handles and edges. The top edges are beautifully curved, and this stands on a gorgeous stepped plinth base. The top overhangs slightly at the back, which makes it perfect to sit flush against a wall with skirting at the bottom.

It has lovely petite proportions, and contains plenty of storage space. The sycamore has a gorgeous colour tone and contrasts beautifully with the walnut.

We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent throughout.
