It is a good quality piece and the oak has a lovely warm golden colour.
The desk splits into three parts for transport. It is a particularly good size with plenty of room under the kneehole for sitting comfortably.
The desk is in good condition for its age and has been well looked after. It has a lovely patina and the drawers open well. The inside of the drawers are generally clean and tidy. There are some normal signs of age and use, some minor knocks and light surface marks, a few small repairs around the bottom of the pedestals and a couple of the knobs have been replaced but overall it displays very well and it is a good tidy pieces of furniture. The desk has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
