A fine pair of mid 19th century French bronze & Ormolu chenets in the Louis XVI style. Each with a patinated bronze seated figure of a cherub depicting Literature & Education. The stepped rectangular plinths with central ormolu drapery flanked by acanthus medallions. Regilded.
