A George II Style Walnut Knee Hole Desk

A George II Style Walnut Knee Hole Desk. The rectangular top with re-entrant corners veneered and banded in figured walnut. The front having an arrangement of seven rectangular oak lined drawers, the drawer fronts veneered and banded in figured walnut with traditional brass handles and pierced backplates. Having a central knee hole door, opening to reveal a storage area. Having block mouldings to the base and raised unshaped bracket feet. English circa 1900-1920, in the George II Taste.
