Description

This is a pair of beautifully painted portraits of the Emperor Jahangir and Bhani Tani dating from the mid 19th Century. The portraits are in strong gouache colours and make a fine pair. They are in excellent condition and are presented in a period gilt wood frame with muted gilt mounts which suits them well.

The frame measures 25 cms by 18 cms.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
