Victorian Solid Mahogany Writing Slope with Secret Drawers

Description

A nice Victorian solid mahogany writing slope with shaped brass engraving plate and matching brass escutcheon. Working lock and key for the box and also the top writing board. Inside is a top quality gilt and blind tooled skiver, pen tray and three secret drawers behind a spring loaded panel, operated from a pressure point by the LHS inkwell recess.
