An antique mahogany chest of drawers with a gently bow-fronted profile, string banding and original brass handles. The arrangement comprises two short drawers above three graduated long drawers, each retaining its period locks and escutcheons. The top shows fine grain and a line-inlaid border, while the shaped apron and splayed bracket feet reflect late 18th to early 19th-century cabinetmaking. A practical bedroom or hallway storage piece with warm patina and balanced proportions.
