A superb quality William IV rosewood partners writing table, circa 1830.
The table features a new hand-dyed green leather writing surface with gilt tooling, beautifully framed by richly figured rosewood.
Supported on bold, oversized cabriole legs with exquisite hand-carved scroll details and striking paw feet, all set on casters for ease of movement.
Each side of the table is fitted with a single frieze drawer, allowing two people to work comfortably together.
The craftsmanship, proportion, and choice of timber are exceptional—an excellent example of early 19th-century English design.
Excellent showroom condition, with a fine polished finish.
A magnificent and practical statement piece—perfect for a study, library, or elegant office.
