Early 20th C. Mahogany Chinese Chippendale Style Camelback Sofa

An elegantly shaped Chinese Chippendale-style camelback sofa in the manner of William Vile. With a mahogany frame having scrolled arms with carved flowers, rosettes, acanthus leaves and shell motifs. Complemented by C-scroll brackets to the legs.
 
In wonderful original condition and seemingly having been very lightly used. The upholstery is in excellent order with barely a mark to speak of and the frame is solid with no loose joints. Two small chips to the inside of the rear legs, but these in no way distract from this stunning statement piece.
