Description

Antique Doxa goliath pocket watch and chain.

The watch has an 8-day stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement carries the brevet number 33236 which relates to a 1905 patent in the name of Georges Ducommun, founder of Fabriques Doxa in 1889. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 65mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and it is in lovely condition.

The glass lens is in good condition.

The black dial has some damage at number 1 and radiating hairlines but not too noticeable to the naked eye.

The watch comes with a single chain, 31cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
