Here we have an outstanding Arts and crafts Copper and brass coal box c1880. As you can see the box has fantastic colour and patina. The well shaped top has a Flower finial and raised Copper decoration. The sides are sarcophagus shaped with beautiful raised Copper panels showing a stunning peacock, tree and fence with a tree on the opposite sides. The panels are beautifully framed in Brass with stunning riveted construction. The whole sits on planished bracket feet. There is also an original Victorian shovel to the interior. A super example in great retail condition ready for use as a coal box or waste paper bin or merely a beautiful Arts and Crafts object. The dimensions are approx 45 cm high 42 cm wide 42 cm deep.
