Here we have a wonderful and rare Art Deco Walnut desk by Gillows c1925. As you can see the desk has great colour and patina. There is a caddy top with crossbanded Walnut border. There is a slim concealed drawer to the top and a further six drawers to the pedestals. All the drawers have their original locks stamped Waring and Gillows. There is also an impressed stamp to the the top of the drawers and an internal plaque for Waring and Gillow. The drawers retain the original handles which are chromed and have Odeon type Art deco design decoration. The top has a wonderful tooled tan leather skiver. The desk is finished in matched beautiful figured Walnut veneers and the feet are reeded and ebonised. The rear of the desk is also finished so the desk could sit in the middle of a room. A stunning desk from one of the great makers in fantastic retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 122 cm wide 76 cm high 61 cm deep.
