Description

A stunning antique figured walnut chest of drawers. This was made in England, we would date this to around the 1890-1900 period, possibly earlier.

It is of extremely fine quality, with a beautifully shaped front, sitting on a beautifully shaped base with bracket feet. This has a cross banded top, the drawers have lovely brass handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. The figured walnut colour tones are deep beautifully warm, and the grain patterns are incredibly striking.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is superb for its age, with some minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there.
