The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has an 11 jewel stem-winding movement, Envoy grade, which is working nicely. This is a good quality movement with Breguet hairspring and screw set jewels. It is fully signed and it has the serial number 11,975,835 which dates it back to 1902. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a little unevenness.

The watch measures 47mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 935 silver and there are Continental hallmarks inside both of the case backs. The case has a little unevenness in places, mainly to the back of the watch.

The glass lens has a few fairly light marks but not too detrimental.
The signed dial is in lovely condition with original blued steel hands.
The watch comes with a single silver chain, 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
Each of the links has a lion silver mark. Also included is a 1930 silver fob with rose gold wash highlights, engraved on the reverse, ‘Ponthenry Public Billiard Hall’.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
