Antique and Unique has dated this piece to the 1900s.
It is nicely framed in a dark green and gilt frame.

Mr Theodore Paier has confused me rather - he is listed in several places as an American artist, 1918 - 2010, but in other places is mentioned as working around 1900 in Europe, and his works seem to be of Austrian and German landscapes. Maybe there are two artists of the same name - I personally can’t see why an American artist would be titling his paintings in German. Judging by the aging on the label on the back, I would say this painting dated from the early 20th century.

Wherever and whenever he was from, this is a lovely painting which is well presented in an attractive frame (the frame is more recent).
Condition: There is some minor wear to the frame, but very good condition overall.
