Artist Biography Fernando Del Basso (1897–1971) was an Italian painter associated with the Neapolitan school, known for his atmospheric coastal scenes depicting the Bay of Naples and surrounding areas such as Capri. His works often feature fishing boats, dramatic rock formations, and shimmering Mediterranean light, capturing the character and beauty of southern Italy.
