Ladies silver and marcasite Excalibur wrist watch, 1965.

The watch has a Swiss 21-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 16mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is silver and has hallmarks inside the case back for Edinburgh 1965, with a maker’s mark for British Watch Cases Ltd. The case is in good condition, as is the lens (some white reflection showing in the photos). All the marcasites are in place.

The dial is signed with the name Excalibur. This brand name was registered in 1957 by Henry Showell Ltd of Birmingham. The dial is in beautiful condition with original hands.

The watch comes on an expanding bracelet.

The watch comes in a vintage presentation box, some darkening to the fitted interior and a few minor marks to the outside, but still nice to have.
