Description

Size: 1ft 5in x 1ft 2in (43 x 35cm). Face size.

Antique Baluch double faced vanity bag with original long tassels.

Circa 1900/20.

This small vanity bag was made by the Baluch nomads of Sistan Province, south east Afghanistan. The bag has piled faces to both sides with an octagon gul design, the ivory border contains the star and bar design.

The vanity bag is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile.

A good collectible tribal item.
