Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. FAQs

Cold painted bronze refers to bronze sculptures that are decorated with layers of oil paint or enamel applied to the cold metal surface, rather than fired in a kiln.

These items are typically cast from bronze or brass alloys, then meticulously hand-painted with specialized pigments and sealed with a protective varnish.

Authentic pieces often exhibit characteristic patination, visible brushwork under magnification, natural wear to the paint layers revealing the metal beneath, and sometimes maker marks or foundry stamps.

Display the figurine on a stack of books on a coffee table, within a glass-fronted cabinet, or on a mantelpiece to add a touch of character and narrative interest to the space.

Dust gently with a soft, dry brush and avoid all chemical cleaners, water, or abrasive cloths, as moisture will damage the fragile cold-painted surface.
