Antique 19th century pedestal desk, crafted from rich mahogany and presented in a desirable large size.

The desk is of good quality and stands on two sturdy pedestals with a plinth base and hidden casters for easy movement. It features a total of nine drawers—four on each side and one larger drawer to the centre—all retaining their original decorative brass handles.

The top is fitted with a gorgeous red leather writing surface, which adds both elegance and practicality to the piece.

A particularly unique feature is the central drawer, which incorporates an angled writing surface that can be adjusted to your preferred angle—though this is not accurately demonstrated in the accompanying images.

The desk is well constructed, solid, and in good condition overall. It conveniently comes apart into three sections for ease of transport. A highly functional and attractive example of 19th century craftsmanship, ideal for any traditional study or office setting.
