Description

Inlaid walnut commode with marble top circa 1910 from stockholm, sweden.

Green and grey marble top with moulded edge and canted corners, sits, removable on the main body.

Fitted with 2 drawers, 1 shallow and 1 deep.  drawer fronts profusely inlaid, cross banded and strung.  fitted with ornate ring handles sides in with urns around the same border, adorned with ormolu mounts on the corners.  raised on 4 tapered legs with further ormolu mounts and inlay.

No locks

Stunning piece and fine example of swedish cabinet making.
