It is a good quality piece with rounded corners and a green leather writing surface with a gilt tooled edge.
The desk is in good condition for its age and has been well looked after. It has a lovely rich patina and the drawers open well. The inside of the drawers are generally clean and tidy with just some minor stains and marks. There are normal signs of age and use, some minor knocks, light surface marks and a few old repairs to chips here and there but nothing detrimental. A couple of the knobs also have a few chips on the back but overall the desk displays well. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
