This antique 19th century mahogany pedestal desk is a superb example of fine craftsmanship, combining elegance, practicality, and timeless appeal. Made from beautifully figured mahogany, the desk boasts a rich, deep colour with striking grain patterns—particularly evident on the drawer fronts.

Standing on two solid pedestals with classic splay feet, the desk is thoughtfully arranged with nine drawers in total—four on each side and one at the centre—all fitted with their original brass handles and fittings. The central drawer is well fitted with compartments, offering useful organisation for writing tools and documents.

A reddish leather writing surface crowns the desk, full of character and gently aged to perfection, adding to the desk’s charm and authenticity. Extremely well made, this substantial piece also comes apart into three sections for ease of transport, making it practical as well as stylish.

In great condition throughout, this is a rare and desirable example of 19th century furniture, offering both function and distinguished style—ideal for a study, home office, or traditional interior setting.
