Description

A smart and very useful antique Victorian mahogany leather top pedestal desk. This was made in England, it dates from the 1860-1880 period.

The quality is fantastic, this is very well made and is a lovely size. The pedestals sit on plinth bases with brass casters, the inset leather top is gold tooled and has a great patina.

The back is also nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item. The top lifts off and this breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.

We have had this recently re-polished, it is in very good condition for its age. There are some small marks here and there remaining beneath the polish and the leather, seen in the images and commensurate for age.
