Late 19th century, French Bronze Figure of an Eagle with outstretched wings and open beak (Aigle, les ailes étendues, le bec ouvert), by Antoine Louis Barye (1795 - 1875) cast by Barbedienne . Signed ‘Barye’ to the base and founders mark ‘ F Barbedienne, Fondeur.’ Gilt finish to the underside with embossed number 44 and hand written, black ink numbers 3501/901
