A 19th-century mahogany commode, designed in the form of a chest of drawers. The front features an arrangement of two short over three long dummy drawers, with the top long drawer acting as a pull to reveal a concealed commode compartment. The interior includes integrated side arms and a fitted seat with a central opening. The piece is raised on turned legs

Height – 73cm / Width - 65cm / Depth - 42cm / Seat Height - 47cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition overall, with typical signs of age and use. There is surface wear throughout, including age-related marks and scratches. The seat, back, and sides show some historical woodworm, which has been fully treated and is no longer active. There is also some splitting, along with staining to the top surface and the front of the dummy drawers.
