Description

A tall antique Wellington chest in dark oak, British c.1900. The front is decorated with deeply carved scrolling foliage and stylised Green Man masks, continuing down each drawer front and flanking pilaster. The seven drawers are secured by a hinged locking stile, typical of the Wellington format. Carved detail continues to the top rail and base moulding. A narrow yet capacious form, ideal for vertical storage in smaller spaces.
