Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1860s.
The three deep drawers have beautifully turned mahogany handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. The lowest drawer is built into the plinth base, so is extra deep. The mahogany has a beautiful light colour tone and patina.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some minor surface wear and normal light marking under the polish here and there, commensurate for age.
