A Fantastic Large Columned Antique/old Pine Waxed Victorian Knockdown Wardrobe

Description

This wardrobe is in good condition. We have professionally stripped and restored it and waxed it in a lovely antique brown bri wax.

The wardrobe would look well in an old or modern property amongst similar antique pine furniture for storage. It would also look great in a large bedroom.

This wardrobe does knockdown into many pieces enabling it to go up 100% of staircases.

The wardrobe stands on square back legs and round turned front bun feet supporting the main section. There are two large doors. Each door has one panel with a carving to the top of the panel which is a nice feature. Behind the doors there is a hanging rail to the top with a hanging height of 180cm. This height is ideal for ladies dresses etc. There is a key that locks the doors. The top has a standard graduated cornice with breakfront corners. The sides are panelled.

WE OFFER FREE DELIVERY TO ENGLAND, WALES, AND SCOTLAND (BELOW PERTH)

Shipping /delivery is equally as important to us as the item of furniture itself. It is simple; we deliver everything personally in England / Wales so this way we are 100% sure that the item / furniture reaches our customers safe and sound. We NEVER use couriers. Delivery is generally within 7-14 days of purchase. We guarantee delivery anywhere in England / Wales within 21 days of purchase.

Deliveries to Scotland as far north as Perth are guaranteed within 6 weeks of purchase. If delivery is required above Perth in Scotland please contact James on 07957 392 074 or

Deliveries are either carried out by David or James as one member of the team is required to stay in the warehouse, therefore we do require assistance from the van into your hallway with the item of furniture. We have set delivery days and once the van is loaded (a day prior to delivery) David will call customers to arrange a two hour delivery time slot. Customers will also receive a text when delivery is 30 minutes away.

It is really helpful if customers can provide their ‘what3words’ location to make delivery as smooth

as possible, especially properties in rural locations.

Ireland Deliveries

We do use a very good courier company called DVM Service to deliver goods to Ireland. We ask the customer to pay this company direct for the delivery charge and we then liaise with DVM regarding collection of a customer’s item of furniture to be shipped to Ireland.

Europe & Rest of the World

We do not ship to Europe or the Rest of the World.

A knockdown wardrobe is a large freestanding cabinet constructed to be fully dismantled into modular pieces, including the cornice, base, side panels, and doors. This design was developed in the nineteenth century to allow large pieces of furniture to be transported easily through narrow staircases and doorways.
